H.E.L.P. (Housing Emergency Lead Program) gives a one-time $1,000 housing boost to homeless families in Monroe and Wayne counties facing temporary financial hardship. Families are referred by the Department of Human Services' Emergency Housing Unit, and approved families can use the funds for a security deposit as they move into stable housing.
